¡¡Me hago caquitaaa...!!

No pretendo resultar escatológico, por lo que aquellos que se estén riendo por mis problemas de esfinteres, siento decepcionarlos, pero cuando me refiero a que "me hago caquita...", es una forma de hablar sobre el miedo (bueno y también una forma de captar vuestra atención), pero no miedo a la actualidad que nos rodea, que sinceramente es la más acojonante, sino a la de ciertos libros (no, tampoco me refiero a que se han malo), sino a los de género de terror.
En la actualidad existe una gran variedad de libros sobre el género, e incluso subgeneros que se han ido desarrollando como el vampirismo (aunque exista manipulaciones que han dejado a los bebedores de sangre como personajes dignos de mofa), que han alcanzado gran reconocimiento por el público en general. Pensando en como se abrió la veda a este género, recordé que fue durante la época del Romanticismo (que nadie lo confundan con amor de empalago) cuando se escribieron las obras maestra que han llegado hasta nuestros días, sin ellos el género de terror no sería nada, gente como Stephen King, Ruiz Zafón, les debe mucho a ellos. ¿Seréis capaz de reocnocerlos antes de leerlos?
  • Frankenstein: La obra de Mary Shelly, mil veces versionadas por el cine, aunque mil veces estropeada a mi manera de entender, esconde mucho más que un simple monstruo, es un libro sobre las miserias humanas, el egoismo, y las ansías de notoriedad, pero sobre todo de la perdida de valores. Imprescindible.
  • Dracula: Sin duda en la actualidad estamos acostumbrado a todo tipo de escritura, pero cuando Bram Stotker, la escribió supo transmitir el miedo de sus personajes a través de las cartas que se van escribiendo unos con otros, para mi es lo que la hace única. Como en la anterior novela también creo que el cine la maltrató en exceso.
  • Edgar Alan Poe: En este caso pongo directamente al autor, ya que sus diferentes relatos, han sido como los iniciadores de lo que actualmente conocemos como terror en la novela. Él fue quien sentó las bases con relatos como "El Cuervo",...
Habrá quien dirá que las elecciones quizás no sean la más adecuadas, y que me habré saltado a otros importantes. Pues no, simplemente quiero que seáis vosotros quienes los enunciéis.
